I'm Sonia, and I’m beyond excited to step into my new role as Program Manager for the Connections Program at The Museum of Flight! ✈️ Whether you’re passionate about space exploration or aviation, Connections helps you become part of a community that celebrates discovery and innovation in the aerospace world! 

 

Together, we'll explore new ideas, meet industry experts, and dive into hands-on activities – it's where inspiration truly takes flight! It's more than just a museum visit; it's an opportunity to experience the fascinating world of aviation and aerospace in a fun, interactive, and meaningful way.

Michael P. Anderson Program (MPA) 2026 Registration Opening Soon! 🚀

MPA registration opens Nov. 15 and closes Dec.15   

Do you know a middle schooler interested in aerospace? If so, don't miss this ✨opportunity to enroll in the  Michael P. Anderson Memorial  Aerospace Program (MPA), which centers on and celebrates the contributions of the diverse community in aviation and aerospace. MPA endeavors to inspire curiosity and build community among students (grades 6-9*). It honors Washington State native and payload commander of the Space Shuttle Columbia, Michael P. Anderson, and offers evening virtual meet-ups, in-person Saturday activities at the Museum, fun field trips, and mentorship to encourage students' interest in STEM fields and related careers. *NOTE: 9th grade applicants must have previously participated in MPA. Fill out the interest form below to be emailed when registration officially opens.

Aerospace Camp Experience (ACE) Sampler

Saturday, Nov. 29 | 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM | Alaska Airlines Aerospace Education Center (AAAEC)

 

Join the Aerospace Camp Experience (ACE) team for a workshop to sample a day at camp! During this 90-minute workshop, participants will experience games, some of our favorite aviation-themed activities (new and old!), and gallery time with ACE flair. Fun for the whole family, these workshops are an opportunity to help us test some new activities while learning about the registration process and the summer experience! Parents, caregivers and guardians must remain with their youth participants for the duration of the workshop. Registration for this event will open on November 17th, stay tuned for the follow-up email to register! 🍁

Aeronautical Science Pathway (ASP) is calling all high school sophomores and juniors interested in becoming an Air Traffic Controller, Professional Pilot, Airline Dispatcher, or Airport or Airline Manager. Interested students and parents/guardians are invited to the upcoming virtual ASP Info Night!  Join us for a presentation and Q&A about how your student can join the 2026-2027 ASP class to jumpstart their career in aviation. RSVP required. ✈️

Come celebrate the winter solstice at The Museum of Flight with cozy activities, crafting, cocoa, and engage with a Museum Volunteer dressed in the vintage style of Wilbur and Orville Wright’s sister, Katharine! And, of course, look for surprise visits everywhere by our furry friend, Sasquatch! Friendly reminder, your Connections Boarding Pass is your ticket to get Connected, so bring a paper or electronic copy any time you visit the Museum. We hope to see you soon!
